About AMG

The story of AMG (UAB “Apvalūs medžio gaminiai”) began in 1996. It was founded when a few ambitious entrepreneurs from a US-based company, Sounders Brothers, decided to explore growth opportunities abroad. Lithuania stood out as an attractive market for a new business, which led to a new branch opening.
After gaining a solid position in the local market, since 2004 AMG has autonomously established solid export lines in Europe and beyond. We specialize in the production of birch components, including furniture dowels, pre-glued furniture dowels, round sticks, and brush handles.
AMG is the second-largest producer of birch furniture dowels in the world and one of the leading suppliers of round sticks and brush handles for the painting and cosmetics brush industries, globally. Our furniture dowels deliver exceptional quality and seamless compatibility with automated nailing machines, and our round sticks and brush handles are widely used as semi-finished components in furniture and brush manufacturing. They are also commonly used in the food industry, toy production, and other industries.
90% of our production is exported to 30 countries across Europe and worldwide, including Sri Lanka, the Dominican Republic, the United States, Saudi Arabia, China, Turkey, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and Brazil.
